The company Strategic Networks Group (www.sngroup.com) has done extensive surveys of thousands of small-to-medium businesses using a Digital Economy Index score (DEi score), rating the companies’ success, based on their adoption levels of eBusiness solutions. They found the more companies engaged in eBusiness the more successful the company.

Basically businesses that use more eSolutions and use them more effectively generate more revenues and achieve more cost savings on an annual basis. They also create more new jobs as a result of their business growth. Here are some facts for small-to-medium enterprises (SME) based on this unique research available:

  • Annual revenues from using eSolutions – up to 47% for high DEi score businesses vs. less than 24% for low DEi score businesses.
  • Annual cost savings from using eSolutions – up to 13% for high DEi score businesses vs. less than 5% for low DEi score businesses.
  • New jobs attributed to using eSolutions – up to 44% for high DEi score businesses vs. less than 10% for low DEi score businesses.

In a nutshell the more you effectively engage in eBusiness – the more successful your business will be!
