  1. If you sell merchandise like tourism products, a video made by a client may actually be deemed more authentic and more valuable. If you are selling video production you should have a professional quality video.
  2. There are an increasing number of 3rd party applications that allow retailers to load their inventory to an interactivestorefront as part of their package or offer apps. See WordPress or Shopify as examples.
  3. It is a competitive advantage. You may not have needed rich media before but as more competitors use it and improve their client engagement, this can be damaging to your market share.
